A leak or missing shingles
A roof problem needs a clear next step. Get help with leaks, worn roofing, storm damage and the choice between repairing what is there and starting fresh.
A few loose shingles and a ceiling leak can raise very different questions. Is there one failed detail to repair? Has water damaged the wood beneath it? Is the covering too worn to join new work to it? We start by looking at the roof that is actually on your house.
The inspection is free. A roofer walks the roof when conditions allow and explains the work its condition supports. If a contained repair can connect to sound roofing, keep that option on the table. If the surrounding material is failing, see what replacement would resolve before another patch becomes another bill.

Choose the concern closest to yours. The inspection can sort out overlapping problems.

A roof you want checkedThe size of the visible mark does not settle the size of the roofing job. These conditions make the distinction useful.
Architectural asphalt shingles offer a layered appearance and work as part of a steep-slope system. Metal brings different panel, seam and expansion details. A low-slope section needs an assembly designed for its pitch and drainage; it should not receive shingles simply to match the rest of the house. Material selection starts with those physical requirements, then appearance and budget.

For planning, a 2,000-square-foot measured roof-surface example is $9,000 to $15,000 for architectural asphalt in the Oklahoma / Oklahoma City area. This assumes one existing layer, ordinary access, moderate complexity and usable decking.
Garages, porches, overhangs and slope separate roof surface from interior living space. More valleys, walls or steep sections add detail work even when the surface area is the same.
Extra tear-off, damaged sheathing, difficult flashing and structural work change the project. Those conditions need a separate allowance; metal and low-slope systems need their own scope.
Keep the tool's 2,000-square-foot example, or enter a surface area or footprint you already know. The calculator handles pitch conversion and stays within 1,500 to 3,000 square feet of roof surface. There is no need to climb or measure before calling.
Wind can lift or crease shingles and leave the layers below exposed. Hail impacts can damage the covering without an immediate indoor leak. We examine the affected shingles, roof edges, flashings and surrounding material before deciding how far the work needs to extend.
If water is coming inside, tell us when you call. Keep clear of fallen lines, sagging ceilings and wet electrical areas, and stay off a wet or damaged roof.
A tarp or other temporary covering can protect an opening when conditions allow safe access. It limits exposure while the permanent work is arranged; damaged shingles, flashings and roof layers still need repair.
The permanent work removes affected material as needed, addresses damaged support and reconnects covering, underlayment and flashing to sound roofing. Broad damage or brittle neighboring material can make a larger repair or replacement the useful choice.
The inspection establishes roof condition and repair options. Weather records and property history help explain an event; a nearby report alone does not establish damage at your address. Policy terms and the insurer determine coverage.
A leak near rooftop equipment can begin at the curb flashing, a membrane seam or another opening along the water path. We look at those details, the roof edges and the drains, then consider whether water has reached the insulation or deck. The visible stain does not describe the full affected area.
A defined defect can be repaired when compatible, sound roofing remains around it. A coating needs a suitable dry roof, repaired details and preparation for the selected system. It does not dry wet insulation, repair a deteriorated deck or correct poor drainage. Widespread wet layers, failing attachment or worn covering can move the decision toward partial or complete replacement.
The building stays part of the plan. Equipment service, tenant entrances, loading areas and access for materials change how the roof work is organized. Those operating needs belong alongside the membrane, insulation and drainage decisions.
